– November 24, 2026 –

Shadow Her is thrilled to announce it has received a grant of $13,500 from the CLA Foundation. This grant is a testament to Shadow Her’s outstanding work and will enable Shadow Her to continue its mission of helping women entrepreneurs strengthen their business operations.

“The CLA Foundation believes in the power of education, employment, and entrepreneurship to transform lives,” said Susan Carter, executive director of the CLA Foundation. “Our grants are designed to support organizations that embody these principles and strive to create lasting impacts within their communities. By funding initiatives that promote these three E’s, we’re helping to build a brighter future for all and further our commitment to be connected to the communities in which we live and work.”

The grant will be used to support Shadow Her program expenses, including but not limited to program materials and educational resources, speaker expenses, facility rental fees and event expenses for one cohort of approximately 12 mentee/mentor pairs.

“We are deeply grateful to have received this $13,500 grant, which represents not just financial support, but a meaningful investment in the dreams and potential of women entrepreneurs in our community. This funding will enable Shadow Her to continue providing the mentorship, resources, and connections that help women business owners navigate challenges, build confidence, and grow sustainable enterprises. Every woman we serve reminds us why this work matters, and this grant ensures we can keep opening doors and creating opportunities for those who need them most.” – Marcia O’Connor, Founder of Shadow Her and Founder and CEO of The O’Connor Group
